College Scholarships

Michael Rea was a dedicated husband and father and a trusted financial adviser who especially enjoyed guiding his clients with special needs children. He took pride in lifting up others around him, loved mentoring & coaching, and had a passion for his work and living life to its fullest. This scholarship is intended to award students who embody many of the professional and personal characteristics that moved so many to look up to Michael. Awardees should exemplify the following:

•  Willingness to lift others up and support those around him/her

• Dedicated work ethic to both academics and extracurricular activities

• Passion and commitment to lead others

• Values relationships with family and friends

Requirements

• Graduating Twinsburg High School senior planning to attend any 4-year college

• GPA of 3.2 or greater

• Participation in at least one school extracurricular activity

• Letter of recommendation from a coach or mentor

• Maximum 500 word essay describing a moment you made a positive impact on someone or the moment you are most proud of (what characteristics did you show? What was the outcome?)
